This painting on canvas in the size of 36″x 24″ (inch) is my first oil painting in 15 years. It marks somewhat of a turning point in my work. Here I would like to share a bit of the process with you – in individual images.
I work from small pencil drawings/sketches which I draw. These distinct geometric and organic shapes have become my signature through the years. After the initial sketch I construct and draw out the whole sketch in colored soft pastel on canvas and the last stage would be the painting in oil over the pastel.
All the materials I use are organic and natural now.
